This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how Quickers Quickers for Marketing and Delivery Services and its affiliates (“Quickers“, “we“, “us“, or “our“) collect, use, store, share, and protect your personal information.

This Policy applies to all individuals who register for, access, or use the Quickers mobile application, website, or any related services (collectively, the “Quickers Platform“).

This Policy is drafted in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Lebanese data protection laws.

BY ACCESSING OR USING THE QUICKERS PLATFORM, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND UNCONDITIONALLY AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THIS POLICY.


I. DEFINITIONS

“Quickers Account” means your registered account on the Quickers Platform.

“Quickers App” means our mobile and web application that allows Users to browse merchant stores, view products, place orders, and access delivery services.

“Quickers Platform” means our proprietary software platform that connects Merchants, Users, and Couriers, enabling mobile e-commerce-as-a-service (MaaS) and delivery-fleet-as-a-service (DaaS).

“Quickers Services” means all services provided through the Quickers Platform, including but not limited to:

  • Free Digital Storefront – Your own branded online store

  • Product Listing & Management – Real-time menu and inventory control

  • Order Processing – End-to-end order management

  • Delivery Services – Fast and reliable last-mile delivery

  • Marketing & Analytics – Customer insights and promotional tools

“Merchants” means restaurants, retailers, specialty shops, and other businesses that list their products on the Quickers Platform and utilize our services to reach customers.

“Couriers” means independent delivery partners who are matched through the Quickers Platform to fulfill orders.

“Users” means any individual who registers for, accesses, or uses the Quickers Platform, including customers placing orders.

“You” / “Your” means you, the User of Quickers Platform.


II. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

A. Personal Information You Provide to Us

When you register for, access, or use the Quickers Platform, we may collect the following categories of personal information:

1. Account Information

  • Full name

  • Email address

  • Phone number

  • Username and password

  • Profile photo (optional)

  • Date of birth (for age-restricted products)

  • Country and city of residence

2. Transaction Information

  • Items purchased or viewed

  • Order history and details

  • Special instructions for orders

  • Date and time of orders

  • Order subtotal and total amounts

  • Payment method type (we do NOT store full payment card details)

  • Delivery notes and preferences

3. Location Information

  • Delivery addresses (home, work, other)

  • Precise device location when the Quickers App is running in the foreground or background (with your permission)

  • Saved locations and favorites

4. Communications

  • Customer support inquiries and chat history

  • Feedback, reviews, and ratings

  • Communications with Couriers (via in-app calling only – your phone number remains hidden)

  • Communications with Merchants

5. Verification Information (in limited circumstances)

  • Government-issued ID (driver’s license, passport, national ID) – only when required for age-restricted product delivery or legal compliance

  • Vehicle registration documents (for Couriers)

  • Business registration documents (for Merchants)

6. User-Generated Content

  • Photos you upload (e.g., profile pictures, order images)

  • Reviews and ratings you submit

  • Comments and feedback


B. Information Collected Automatically

When you access or use the Quickers Platform, we automatically collect certain technical information:

1. Device Information

  • IP address

  • Device type, model, and manufacturer

  • Unique device identifiers

  • Operating system and version

  • Browser type and version

  • Mobile network information

2. Usage Information

  • Pages you view and how you navigate the Quickers App

  • Links you click

  • Searches you perform

  • Features you use

  • Time spent on pages

  • Referring website or application

  • App crashes and performance data

3. Cookie and Tracking Technologies

  • Session cookies (expire when you close the app)

  • Persistent cookies (remain until cleared)

  • Functionality cookies (remember your preferences, location, and previous orders)

  • Analytics cookies (help us understand how you use our Platform)

You can disable cookies through your browser or device settings. However, please note that certain features of the Quickers Platform may not function properly if cookies are disabled.


C. Information from Third Parties

We may receive personal information about you from third parties, including:

1. Social Media Services

  • When you choose to register or log in using Facebook, Google, or Apple

  • Information you have authorized the social network to share with us (subject to that social network’s privacy policy)

2. Merchants and Couriers

  • Order confirmations and delivery updates

  • Customer feedback and issue reports

3. Payment Processors

  • Payment confirmation

  • Billing information (we do not receive or store full payment card numbers)

4. Business Partners

  • Marketing partners and affiliates

  • Analytics providers


III. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use your personal information for the following purposes:

A. To Provide and Improve Our Services

  • Process Transactions – Complete your orders, process payments, and provide order confirmations

  • Facilitate Delivery – Share your delivery location with Couriers to ensure accurate and timely delivery (Couriers only see your delivery address, not your phone number)

  • Manage Your Account – Create and maintain your Quickers Account, authenticate your identity

  • Customer Support – Respond to your inquiries, resolve issues, and provide assistance

  • Personalize Your Experience – Display relevant merchant recommendations, remember your preferences and previous orders

  • Improve Our Platform – Analyze usage patterns, test new features, optimize performance

B. To Communicate With You

  • Transactional Communications – Order confirmations, delivery status updates, account notifications

  • Marketing Communications – Promotional offers, new merchant launches, special events, and personalized recommendations (you may opt out at any time)

  • WhatsApp Communications – With your consent, we may send order updates and promotional offers via WhatsApp (opt-out available at any time)

  • Service Announcements – Important updates about our Platform, terms, or policies

C. For Security and Legal Compliance

  • Detect and Prevent Fraud – Monitor for suspicious activity, unauthorized transactions, and security incidents

  • Verify Identity – Age verification for age-restricted products, identity verification for Merchants and Couriers

  • Comply with Legal Obligations – Fulfill regulatory requirements, respond to lawful requests from authorities

  • Enforce Our Terms – Protect our rights, property, and safety, and the rights of our Users, Merchants, and Couriers

D. With Your Consent

We may use your information for other purposes with your explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time by contacting us


If you choose not to provide certain personal information, we may not be able to provide you with the Quickers Services or certain features of our Platform.


IV. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

Under the GDPR, we must have a lawful basis to process your personal information. Our lawful bases include:

A. Performance of a Contract

We process your information as necessary to perform our contract with you – to provide the Quickers Services you have requested and fulfill your orders.

B. Legal Obligation

We process your information where necessary to comply with applicable laws and regulatory obligations, including tax laws, consumer protection laws, and records retention requirements.

C. Consent

We process certain information based on your explicit consent (e.g., precise location tracking, marketing communications, certain cookies). You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.

Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

D. Legitimate Interests

We process your information where necessary for our legitimate interests, provided such interests are not overridden by your fundamental rights and freedoms.

  • Delivering, developing, and improving our Quickers Services

  • Understanding how Users interact with our Platform

  • Conducting direct marketing activities

  • Enhancing customer service and support

  • Performing internal auditing and business administration

  • Preventing fraud and ensuring security

  • Communicating with regulatory authorities

  • Defending legal claims and protecting our legal rights


V. INFORMATION SHARING AND DISCLOSURE

A. Merchants

When you place an order with a Merchant, we share necessary order information (items purchased, special instructions, delivery location) to enable them to prepare your order.

B. Couriers

We share your delivery location and order details with Couriers to facilitate delivery. Your phone number remains hidden – all calls are made through our secure in-app calling system.

C. Service Providers

We engage trusted third-party service providers who process information on our behalf, including:

  • Cloud hosting and storage providers

  • Payment processors

  • Customer support platforms

  • Analytics and performance monitoring services

  • Marketing and communications tools

  • Fraud detection and security services

All service providers are contractually bound to protect your information and process it only in accordance with our instructions.

D. Business Affiliates

We may share information among Quickers and our current and future parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, and related entities under common control.

E. Legal and Regulatory Authorities

We may disclose your information when we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to:

  • Comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or governmental requests

  • Enforce our Terms of Service and other agreements

  • Protect the rights, property, or safety of Quickers, our Users, Merchants, Couriers, or the public

  • Detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security, or technical issues

F. Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or bankruptcy, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or control.

G. With Your Consent or at Your Direction

We may share your information with third parties when you have given us explicit consent to do so or when you direct us to share it.

H. Aggregated or De-identified Information

We may share aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify you for business, research, or analytical purposes.


VI. DATA RETENTION

We retain your personal information for as long as your Quickers Account is active or as necessary to provide you with our Services.

Following account deletion, we may retain your personal information for an additional period.

We determine appropriate retention periods based on:

  • The amount, nature, and sensitivity of the information

  • The potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure

  • The purposes for which we process the information

  • Whether we can achieve those purposes through other means

  • Applicable legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements

After the applicable retention period, your personal information will be securely deleted or anonymized.


VII. DATA SECURITY

We implement robust technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, accidental loss, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

A. Technical Measures

  • Encryption – All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using TLS (Transport Layer Security) protocol

By using the Quickers Platform, you acknowledge and consent to the transfer of your personal information to countries that may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.


IX. YOUR RIGHTS

Under the GDPR and applicable data protection laws, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:

A. Right of Access

You have the right to request confirmation of whether we process your personal information and, if so, to access that information along with details about the processing.

B. Right to Rectification

You have the right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information.

C. Right to Erasure (“Right to be Forgotten”)

You have the right to request deletion of your personal information in certain circumstances, including:

  • The information is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected

  • You withdraw your consent and no other legal basis applies

  • You object to processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds

  • The information has been unlawfully processed

  • Deletion is required to comply with a legal obligation

D. Right to Restriction of Processing

You have the right to request restriction of processing of your personal information in certain circumstances, including:

  • You contest the accuracy of the information (for a period enabling us to verify accuracy)

  • Processing is unlawful and you oppose erasure, requesting restriction instead

  • We no longer need the information, but you require it for legal claims

  • You have objected to processing, pending verification of our legitimate grounds

E. Right to Data Portability

You have the right to receive your personal information that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format and to transmit that information to another controller, where:

  • Processing is based on consent or contract; and

  • Processing is carried out by automated means

F. Right to Object

You have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing of your personal information based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing purposes. We will cease processing unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds overriding your interests, rights, and freedoms, or for legal claims.

G. Right to Withdraw Consent

Where processing is based on consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

H. Right to Lodge a Complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, particularly in your country of residence, place of work, or place of alleged infringement.

We will respond to your request without undue delay and in any event within one month of receipt. This period may be extended by two additional months where necessary, taking into account the complexity and number of requests. We will inform you of any such extension within one month of receipt.

We may request specific information from you to confirm your identity before processing your request.


Account Deletion

To delete your Quickers Account:

1. Via the Quickers App:

  • Open the Quickers App and log in

  • Navigate to Profile → Account Settings → Delete Account

  • Follow the prompts to confirm deletion

  • Your account will be permanently deactivated within 24 hours

Note: Account deletion is irreversible. Upon deletion, you will lose access to all order history, saved preferences, and account benefits. Certain information may be retained as required by law (see Section VI – Data Retention).


X. COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to collect and store information when you access our Quickers Platform.

A. Types of Cookies We Use

B. Third-Party Analytics

We use third-party analytics services, including:

  • Google Analytics – To understand, in an aggregated and anonymized manner, how Users interact with our Platform

  • Firebase – For app performance monitoring and crash reporting

  • Facebook Pixel – To measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns

These third parties may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your use of our Platform.

C. Your Cookie Choices

You can manage cookies through your browser or device settings:

  • Browser Settings – Most browsers allow you to refuse or accept cookies, delete cookies, or be notified when a cookie is set

  • Device Settings – iOS and Android devices provide options to limit ad tracking and reset advertising identifiers

Please note that if you disable essential cookies, certain features of the Quickers Platform may not function properly.


XI. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

The Quickers Platform is not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us immediately at privacy@quickers.online. We will take steps to delete such information.

If you are a parent or legal guardian providing information on behalf of a child under 16, you warrant that:

  • You have obtained explicit consent from the child’s legal guardian

  • You have explained this Privacy Policy to the child in an age-appropriate manner

  • You accept full responsibility for the child’s use of our Platform


XII. DATA BREACH NOTIFICATION

In the event of a personal information breach that is likely to result in a high risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify you without undue delay.

Our notification will:

  • Describe in clear and plain language the nature of the breach

  • Provide the name and contact details of our Data Protection Officer or other contact point

  • Describe the likely consequences of the breach

  • Describe the measures we have taken or propose to take to address the breach and mitigate its effects

We will also notify relevant supervisory authorities within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, unless the breach is unlikely to result in a risk to individuals’ rights and freedoms.


XIII. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or operational considerations.

When we make material changes:

  • We will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Policy

  • We will notify you through the Quickers App or via email (for significant changes)

  • We may request that you review and re-consent to the updated Policy

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your personal information.

Your continued use of the Quickers Platform after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.


XIV. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with:

A. Lebanese Law

  • For Quickers and its operations in Lebanon

  • Subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Beirut, Lebanon


XV. YOUR CONSENT AND ACKNOWLEDGMENT

BY ACCESSING OR USING THE QUICKERS PLATFORM, YOU CONFIRM AND AGREE THAT YOU:

(A) HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND UNCONDITIONALLY AGREE TO ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY;

(B) EXPLICITLY CONSENT TO THE COLLECTION, USE, STORAGE, SHARING, AND TRANSFER OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION AS DESCRIBED IN THIS POLICY;

(C) ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THIS POLICY DOES NOT LIMIT, CONDITION, ALTER, OR AMEND ANY RIGHTS YOU MAY HAVE GRANTED TO US UNDER ANY OTHER AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU AND QUICKERS; AND

(D) AGREE THAT THIS POLICY SHALL REMAIN IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT FOR THE DURATION OF YOUR USE OF THE QUICKERS PLATFORM AND FOR THE APPLICABLE RETENTION PERIOD THEREAFTER.
